Gabe Rooker is a Certified Student Loan Consultant (CLSC®) at Student Loan Planner. With his financial expertise, Gabe has successfully consulted on ~ $58M in student loans, saving clients around $20M through strategized repayment plans. His dedication to helping others navigate the complex landscape of student loans showcases his commitment to promoting financial wellness.
Adding a unique dimension to his background, Gabe earned his BS in Petroleum Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Physics from the University of Wyoming, proudly cheering for the “Go Pokes!” team.
As the self-starter of Roobiks Builds, a home renovation company in the Pacific Northwest, Gabe is a seasoned carpenter and the creative force behind the Design-to-construction movement for fences, decks, ADUs, and stunning design renders showcased on SketchUp and Chief Architect. Prior to establishing a residential construction company, Gabe worked as a builder for Rick’s Custom Fencing and Decking and contributed his expertise to the FGHS Viking Home showcased on the Street of Dreams.
Beyond his mastery in carpentry, Gabe has a specialized athletic background. He excelled as a swimmer in the U.S. Olympic trials and NCAA DIV 1 Athletics. He also finds solace in the Arizona deserts, where he and his longtime partner Astrid appreciate the tranquility of Paradise Valley and occasional hikes in Sedona. In his spare time, Gabe pursues his passion for crafting custom home furniture in his "Trailer shop" located in the heart of the desert.
